Ana Kahan, a 22-year-old graduate of the Frost School of Music with a specialization in vocal performance, has been an integral part of Chords2Cure since 2017. Her journey took an unexpected turn when, at the tender age of 20, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer within her thymus gland amidst the throes of the pandemic.
In an astonishingly compressed timeframe of just two years, Ana braved not one, but two intricate surgeries, and endured a grueling seven weeks of proton radiation therapy.
Driven by her deeply personal connection to the cause, and fueled by her unwavering passion for music, Ana made the profound decision to become a member of the Board of Directors. Her aim is to leverage her experiences to raise awareness and effect positive change for the young warriors who find themselves navigating a journey similar to her own.
